This form of cupro nickel tube gives the best service life under the most adverse conditions because of improved corrosion resistance and almost insensitive to stress corrosion. These cupro nickel tubes are used in heat exchangers where severe erosion and corrosion have been experienced, especially at elevated temperatures, high velocities and extreme turbulence of the circulating media. For smaller orders the size of the Cupro Nickel Tubes 70/30 bundle depends on the no. of Tubes ordered, for larger orders the tubes are packed into individual bundles and in such a way that the maximum weight of 4000kg per bundle is not excedded. Bundle tied down with steel tape. Bundle tied down by steel strap underlaid by tapaten.
We can also provide Cupro Nickel Tubes 70/30 wooden box packing, cardboard boxes, plastic wrapping, using hardened paper with PE meshing (used as protection against mechanical damages of tubes), into tapaten and polyethylene sheet etc.

The two main alloys are 90/10 and 70/30. The 70/30 is stronger and has greater resistance to sea water flow; but the 90/10 will provide good service for most applications and being less expensive tends to be more widely used.
Cupro-Nickel (70%/30%) : This alloy provides corrosion resistance in high velocity (from 1 to 4 m/sec) waters, including sea water. The alloy is relatively insensitive to stress corrosion. It has good cold and hot working properties and is readily weldable.
Cupro-Nickel (90%/10%): This alloy also has very high erosion and corrosion resistance. It has very high weldability, easy for installation and high anti-fouling properties against sea microorganisms. Relatively high iron content provides better impingement attack resistance. The alloy is unique to stress corrosion cracking.
